Hello to everyone. We had the wonderful privilege to see so many talented young actors this week at auditions. Below you will find the callback list for those we would like to have come back to read and sing content from the show. If you were not called back this does not mean that you are not cast in the show. It just means we didn’t need to see you again. Also being called back does not guarantee that you will given a part in the show. Please be aware that we had over 50 young actors audition for this show and we have around 25 or so spots to fill. So, we will cast roughly 50% of you.

Your Next Steps

Please follow the dropbox link below to find your files for callbacks on dropbox.

 

Find the folder for the character(s) you are called back for and download the contents to your computer. In this folder you will find:

 

(SIDES) for your character – Script for a small scenes. Come in and do your callback in character, with accents, character voices, etc, so we can see what you would do with the material and acting.

 

(SCORE) for your song(s) – This is sheet music for a song or part of a song we would like to hear you do in character.

 

(DEMO) MP3 music – This is the music with vocals.

 

(PERFORMANCE) MP3 Music – This is the same song again but without your vocals

 

Please download these materials. Print out the sides and scores to work on your callback at home and bring your copies with you to the callbacks.

 

Be familiar the material, come in with a good attitude, and be your character. Make big choices with your physicality, your vocal inflections, your gestures, your character voice. 

 

Please familiar with the other characters. Sometime we may ask you to read for additional characters so you are welcome to look over other sides. The lyrics and sides do not have to be memorized but if you can it will allow you to concentrate more on your character and acting.
