JTF is a thrilling, immersive weekend where young performers from around the world shine on stage and grow as artists. It's a unique opportunity attended by over 6,000 students who are there to showcase their talents, gain invaluable feedback from Broadway professionals, and make lasting friendships—all while having a blast!

• Performances & Adjudication: Students perform selections from a Broadway Junior® show totaling 15-minutes for a panel of expert judges

• Workshops & Professional Development: Broadway professionals and master teachers lead interactive sessions to boost performance skills for students and offer insights for educators.

• New Works Showcase: Students get an exclusive first look at upcoming musical adaptations—experiencing brand-new stories and songs before they are released!

• Exclusive Opportunities: Top performers are invited to join the JTF All-Stars for a special workshops or they may audition for a future Broadway Junior® Choreography Video.

• Interactive Events: From a fun tech obstacle course to engaging industry talks and social events, every moment is packed with energy and creativity.

• Celebration: The festival wraps up with an awards ceremony celebrating group's achievements and a grand finale concert.

JTF is more than just a festival—it’s an inspiring, hands-on learning experience that leaves students motivated, confident, and excited about the future of musical theater!

Things to know:

1. Applications are due by March 10.

2. Age requirement to be considered for the team is 10-18.

3. You must have been in 1 CFT Musical in the past 12 months.

4. Prior Team members are automatically accepted.

5. New Team Applicants must audition early April for a spot by participating in dance auditions and performing a 32 bar song cut from a Broadway Musical.

6. Rehearsals will take place from November - January.

7. Total cost $800 (Includes festival fees, meals, team clothing items, festival t-shirts, hotels and transportation to Atlanta)​. After acceptance you can make monthly payments toward your balance.
