Madagascar A Musical Adventure KIDS takes audiences from New York’s Central Park Zoo to the wild island of Madagascar as Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman are swept into an unexpected adventure. Along the way, they meet escaped penguins, dancing lemurs, King Julien, and the fearsome Foosa while learning that true friendship can help you find your way no matter how far from home you roam.

How to Train Your Dragon The Musical JR. takes audiences to the Viking village of Berk, where Hiccup, the inventive son of the village chief, struggles to prove he belongs. When he discovers an injured Night Fury dragon named Toothless, Hiccup begins to see dragons in a whole new way and learns that true courage may come from friendship, kindness, and daring to change what everyone believes.

This Is Not Detention tells the story of five high school students accused of hacking the school’s grading system and forced into daily detention until someone confesses. As the week unfolds, their sarcasm, suspicion, and defenses give way to honesty as they reveal the pressures, fears, and struggles they each carry outside the classroom. What begins as punishment becomes an unexpected story of connection, courage, and standing together.
Join us for an evening of wonderful acting and talent with the CFT Masterclass Troupe as they present this heartfelt work.

The Junior Theater Festival (JTF) is the world’s biggest and best celebration of young people performing musical theater. It brings together student musical theater troupes from all over the world for a weekend of musical theater mayhem and madness. Each troupe performs fifteen minutes from a Broadway Junior®️ show for adjudication by a panel of musical theater experts. The weekend also features professional development for teachers, workshops for students and parents, a New Works Showcase featuring new musical adaptations soon to be released and concludes with a grand finale concert headlined by Broadway’s best!

The Christi Awards are a wonderful and fun evening to celebrate great performances by our actors young and old that gave exceptional performances this season. Everyone has the opportunity to dress up and celebrate with other castmates. All actors from shows for the season are invited and we will include large group numbers from each musical during the season.
The award is an etched crystal award with a signature Christi Awards blue star on top. We push our young actors to become the best they can be and we want to reward exceptional performances.

The Lightning Thief: Theatre for Young Audiences Edition follows Percy Jackson, a young man who discovers he is the son of Poseidon and suddenly finds himself accused of stealing Zeus’s lightning bolt. With the help of his friends Annabeth and Grover, Percy sets off on an action-packed quest filled with Greek gods, mythical monsters, and unexpected danger as he tries to clear his name, stop a war among the gods, and discover the hero he was meant to be.
