UPCOMING AUDITIONS
A Musical Theater Caberet
Broadway Melodies is a family friendly musical revue featuring songs from everyone’s favorite Broadway musicals old and new. Musical numbers will be performed by actors young and old alike and will consist of group numbers, soloists, duets, and choral numbers by both adult and youth chorus. This event is our main fundraiser for 2025. Auditions will be held in the fall for performers wishing to sing in the show. Casts from our fall show, JTF team, and select students for our new 2024-25 master class will all participate.
Auditions will be held at the CFT Studios inside Wesley Memorial UMC, 6314 E. Brainerd Road.
Please select a time slot for your individual audition. One actor only per entry slot (unelss auditioning for a duet). Enter the adutionees name, gender and age. You will have approximately 5 minutes for your vocal audition. You may select a song from the song selection PDF or prepare your own song. Please plan your own accompaniment. You may bring your hand held device and connect it to our bluetooth speaker. Please do not audition a capella.
Those selected to participate will be put into one or two of 3 ensemble groups to do large group numbers at the show. From those ensembles we will cast the duets, solos etc.
We are still finalizing our song line up for the evening and hope to have those posted in a couple of weeks. Feel free to audition with any of those songs you are interested in performing or another song of your choice.
This sheet is a list of many possible songs for the show. We will select a certain number of different songs, genres, and performer types to make the show. You may audition with one of these songs or a song of your own is you would like to suggest we consider it for the line up.
